Privacy Policy
01 — Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how SanFlorence Digital LLC (“SanFlorence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our applications, including Mes (AI Tools for iMessage) and DIY Decor AI: Room Design (collectively, the “Apps”). We are a small iOS studio based in California, and we are committed to collecting as little personal data as possible.
02 — Information We Collect
We collect only what the Apps need to work:
- Content you provide. For Mes, the message text you choose to process. For DIY Decor AI, the room photos you choose to upload. This content is used solely to generate your result.
- Purchase information. When you subscribe, we receive transaction and subscription-status data through Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your full payment card details.
- Usage and diagnostic data. Basic, non-identifying information such as app version, device type, and crash logs that help us fix bugs and improve the Apps.
- Waitlist and giveaway details. If you join our waitlist, the email address you enter and, if you choose to add it, your Instagram handle. You type these in yourself; nothing is read from your device.
The Apps themselves do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, address book, or contacts. You give us contact details only when you choose to — by emailing us directly, or by joining our waitlist as described in Section 03.
03 — Waitlist and Giveaway
We run a waitlist for our apps. If you sign up, we collect the email address you enter and, optionally, your Instagram handle. The email address is required so we can reach you; the Instagram handle is optional and is used only as a second way to contact you if you win a giveaway.
This is an ongoing list, not a single announcement. We use it to tell you when we launch a new app, to run giveaways, and to notify you if you win one. That means you will hear from us more than once — occasionally, and only about SanFlorence. We do not share these details with advertisers, we do not sell them, and we do not email you on anyone else’s behalf.
Leaving the list. You can opt out at any time. We do not use an email marketing platform, so there is no automated unsubscribe link — instead, reply to any email we send you and say you want off, or email hello@sanflorence.com. Every email we send repeats this. We process opt-outs by hand, normally within a few days and always within 30 days, and you will not hear from us again afterwards. Leaving also withdraws you from any giveaway that has not yet been drawn.
Waitlist entries are stored in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet in a Google account controlled by SanFlorence Digital LLC and restricted to us. Google stores this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
Because the list is ongoing, we keep your entry until you ask us to remove it, or until we retire the list and delete the spreadsheet. When you opt out we delete your email address and Instagram handle from the active list, but we keep a minimal record that the address opted out, so we cannot add you back by mistake. You can also ask us to delete that record.
04 — How We Use Your Information
We use information to: (a) provide the core features of the Apps, including generating AI replies and room redesigns; (b) process and manage your subscriptions; (c) diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve performance; and (d) respond to your support requests. We do not use your content to train our own models, and we do not sell your personal information.
05 — Third-Party Services
To deliver AI features, we share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers:
- Google Gemini API. Mes sends the text you choose to process to Google’s servers to generate replies and suggestions. That text is transmitted to and processed by Google.
- AI image processing. DIY Decor AI sends the photos you upload to an AI backend to generate redesigned images.
- RevenueCat. Manages subscriptions and stores purchase-related data.
- Apple App Store. Distributes the Apps and processes all payments.
- Google Sheets. Stores waitlist entries — your email address and, if provided, your Instagram handle.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.
06 — Data Retention
We retain content only as long as needed to deliver your result; AI requests are processed in real time and are not stored long-term by us. Usage and diagnostic data is retained for a maximum of 90 days. Purchase records are retained as required by Apple and by applicable tax and accounting laws. Waitlist entries are retained as described in Section 03.
07 — Children’s Privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. Our waitlist is open only to entrants who are 18 or older.
08 — California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email us at hello@sanflorence.com. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
09 — Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) to third-party services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 — Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Apps. Your continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
